Nemiran Center and twelve families of the victims whom had been forcefully abducted by security forces of Iran during early 80s had a meeting in Geneva with the Working Group of this topic.

To this regard we spoke to the speaker of Nemiran Center Mr. Jens Blouri. He emphasized the importance of the meeting about the cases of disappearances in Iran. He assesses the result of this meeting very positive.

He mentioned that the Working Group is determined to pursue every legal channel to clarify the faith of those victims; furthermore they will request Iranian authorities to respect the demand of the families of the victims and respect human rights.

In another part Mr. Jens Blouri mentioned that the presence of the family of victims made a tremendous impression on the representatives of United Nations Human Rights Group. The Working Group was clearly moved by magnitude of suffering of these families and was very attentive to their request.

He finally stressed that Nemiran Center has agreed upon further cooperation with United Nations Human Rights Group in seeking justice for the victims.
