Place of birth: Sarchnar village close to Mahabad
Seyed Jamal finished primary school in Sarchnar. He moved to Mahabad along with his family after the 1979 revolution in the country. Due to economic difficulties, he could not continue his studies.
From early on he had an interest in Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran. He was eager to join them. When he turned 18, he was forced by his family to assign for mandatory military service in Iranian army.
After finishing the military service, he moved back to Mahabad and became an active member of Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran. Unfortunately, he was arrested after a short period. He endured unhuman torture during his arrest. He was convicted to death and was executed after being incarcerated for ten years on 31/8/1381 Iranian Calendar (9/7/2002).
There are very a few items remaining after Seyed Jamal; a few notebooks and some pictures. However, those show his interest in the Kurdish struggle, his believe in freedom and a better life for Kurdish people.
