The Islamic Regime in Iran showed its hostility to the Kurdish people plainly from the beginning. Khomeini\u2019s Jihad fatwa against the Kurdish people and military invasion of Kurdistan had directly inhumane consequences. It led to the destruction of many towns and villages, the execution and disappearance of thousands of Kurdish children, men and women, young and old, in groups or individually, in secret or in public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
59 young people from Mahabad were executed in Tabriz prison on 12.03.1362 Iranian Calendar \u00a0(June 2, 1983). They were accused for collaborating with Kurdish parties. The names of these victims are as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n This action of the regime was an attempt to gain more control over Kurdistan and to continue the systematic terror against the Kurdish people. There is no evidence that these 59 persons were guilty. They were not given a trial at all. The fact is that the Islamic Republic has sentenced them to death in unjust courts and in minute trials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This act of the regime was a massacre. Islamic Republic is responsible for that.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Nemiran website considers the 37th day of memoriam of this brutal massacre as an occasion to start its work.
