He delivered a speech on November 19th 2022 following the tragic deaths of activists in the city of Bookan during a period of mass demonstrations in the region. Subsequently, he was arrested and has now been convicted, receiving a death sentence for his speech. Additionally, he has been sentenced to serve 16 years in prison before facing execution.
